I am a full-time but underpaid financial journalist and recently published author of "Tales from the Newsrooms: An Offbeat Look" (http://www.amazon.com/Tales-From-Newsrooms-Offbeat-Look/dp/1466216026). I am seeking extra work on the side. My skills include book editing, copyediting, writing, broadcasting and resume consulting.
My book, which I call "William Safire meets Jim Bouton," is a funny compilation of newsroom stories that includes examples of bad writing, interviews with famous newsmakers including Ella Grasso, Pete Rose and Wayne Gretzky,and many zany accounts of life in newsrooms and on the outside, ranging from local to international.
